Ghana is internationally recognized for its production of high quality fabrics with a traditional design (Kente and Batik). Today many textile companies have chosen Ghana to exploit the tax exemption regime (particularly in the free zones) and the stable operating environment.

The country's textile industry includes integrated factories, weaving factories and traditional manufacturing businesses involved in spinning, hand weaving and fabric processing. Recently, the "Made in Ghana" brand promotion has been very successful and has also earned interest from the US market with good results.
