Privacy Informations

Information provided pursuant to art. 13 et seq. of EU Regulation 679/2016, hereinafter referred to as "GDPR" and artt. 13 and 122 of the Code on the protection of personal data (D.Lgs. 196/03) to users who link to the website www.ghanasicilybusinessforum.it, hereinafter called "site".

Purpose

The personal data provided through the site, or otherwise acquired in compliance with current legal and contractual provisions, will be processed in accordance with the above-mentioned legislation and confidentiality obligations exclusively for the following purposes:

purposes related to registration and authentication on the site as a registered user;

purposes related and/ or instrumental to the performance of the tasks entrusted to the Association Ghana Sicily Business Forum ETS through the site;

sending the periodic newsletter with any commercial information of interest to the registered user;

sending personal communications in response and/ or related to requests submitted through the contact forms of the site (request clarifications, reporting errors, suggestions etc.)

publication of the sheets - project, after further authorization by the user, for the collaborators of the site;

Management of articles submitted by users and employees, as mentioned in the respective information.

The processing of information concerning the user is based on the principles of correctness, legality, transparency and protection of confidentiality.

It is excluded, therefore, any different use and/ or conflicting with the interests of the user.

Information subject to processing

With regard to the data processed, a distinction must be made according to the activities that the user carries out on the site.

1) Navigation

It applies to the user (registered or not) who navigates on the site to consult texts or use online applications.

The information entered in the masks of the online applications of the site are not permanently stored on the server but remain available to the user only for the duration of the working session.

With regard to textual content we record in aggregate the number of readings of each article.

2) Interaction via contact form

Applies to requests for contact, advice, reporting pages, sending suggestions etc.

In addition to the data expressly entered by the user in the mask (name, email, telephone if required etc.), we record in our database the following information:

consent to the processing of data according to this notice.

the IP address from which the requests originate (this information is classified by the GDPR as "personal data").

the type of browser used and whether it is a mobile device.

the anonymous user identifier created by a proprietary internal algorithm. The identifier is constructed so that it cannot be traced back to the user’s IP address.

in some cases also the page of the site visited immediately before submitting the request.

the date and time of the operation.

Regarding the requests for advice submitted through the site may be requested additional documents to be sent by email or PEC to which the discipline of the GDPR and in any case the professional ethics on confidentiality apply.

3) Site registration

It applies in the phases when you want to register on the site to open your own personal account and use your private area, if activated.

The passwords for access to the site by registered users are stored so that their original content can never be traced back.

In addition to the data requested at the time of registration (username, email and password), we store in appropriate archives the information that the user, after registration, enters in his private area.

4) Newsletter subscription

It applies to users who do not wish to register on the site but wish to subscribe to the newsletter.

In this case we record in our archives only the email address entered by the user at the time of registration, as well as what is described in point 2).

The cancellation of the newsletter and its archives can be made directly by the user through a special link inserted at the bottom of each newsletter.

Registered users can unsubscribe from the newsletter also from the reserved area.

5) Sending articles to the editorial staff

Applies to users who propose their articles for publication to the editorial staff of the site.

The same considerations apply as for point 1).

6) Code for webmasters

It applies to those who intend to use the code for webmaster that allows sharing on third-party sites the masks of applications under the conditions stated in the notice.

 

Nature of the granting, refusal and withdrawal of consent

The provision of personal data is not required by law.

However, the absence thereof, refusal or withdrawal of consent to processing in the manner specified below, will make it impossible to maintain any professional consulting relationship with the user or to improve the use of the online services of the site listed below:

Seeking advice on business initiatives and social design for international cooperation.

the user’s request for assistance, both with regard to the reserved area and the use of applications.

Sending communications and messages to the editorial staff or webmaster through the site.

the receipt of the newsletter. Access to confidential documents.

Communication / dissemination

The data will not be communicated to other subjects, nor will they be disclosed or transferred to third parties in any way, both in Italy and abroad, except for personal data that for tax reasons it will be necessary to communicate to the commercial accountant of the Association (limited to payment for consultancy services rendered and/or non-contractual payments) which has provided an assurance of compliance with the Privacy Policy and absolute confidentiality as well as the provision of a DPS in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Code and Annex B to the aforementioned Code.

The owner reserves the right to analyze in aggregate form the data acquired to make internal statistics on the use of some services (eg: readings of the newsletter and use of particular applications), complementing what is already done with third-party tools for tracking traffic on the site (Google Analytics).

Data controller

The data controller is the lawyer Francesco Campagna, in his capacity as legal representative of the Associaizone Ghana Sicily Business Forum ETS based in Palermo.

Rights of the user

In relation to the processing of personal data and pursuant to art. 13 of GDPR and art. 7 of D.Lgs. 196/2003, the user has the right:

Access to data (art. 15 GDPR)

The user has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of personal data concerning him and their communication in an intelligible form.

The request can be sent directly by email to the data controller (v. e-mail addresses).

Rectification and deletion (art. 16 and 17 GDPR)

You have the right to request the rectification, deletion or restriction of the processing of your personal data.

Registered users can modify personal and professional data directly from their private area through appropriate management masks.

For the cancellation, always in the reserved area, is available on the page of personal data the checkbox for the request to delete the data.

Warnings

The request for deletion of the account is automatically forwarded to the technical staff of the site and is irrevocable, ie once confirmed, can no longer be canceled.

After a few days, the user will receive confirmation of the deletion of his data.

Once the request has been submitted, the user can no longer access the reserved area.

The username cannot be reused for a new registration.

Limitation of processing (art. 18 GDPR)

You have the right to object, in whole or in part, for legitimate reasons, to the processing of personal data concerning you, even if relevant to the purpose of the collection.

In this case:

Sending the newsletter:

Registered users can revoke at any time the use of the email address for sending the newsletter by accessing the reserved area; non-registered users can exercise this option by clicking on the appropriate link at the bottom of the newsletter.

  • Data portability (art. 20 GDPR)

  • You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured and machine-readable format. The request must be addressed to the data controller; personal data will be provided in xml format.

  • Communication

  • The user has the right to obtain the identification details, as well as the owner, of any employees to whom the data can be communicated or who may become aware of it; the employees of the site who are responsible for providing assistance to the user limit access to personal data only for the purposes requested by the user (clarification request, helpdesk, resolution of anomalies, etc.).

  • Complaint

  • The user has the right to lodge a complaint with the national supervisory authority (Garante) in the event that the use of data differs from what is provided for in the aforementioned legislation;

  • Communications to the site can be forwarded through the appropriate menu Contacts or by sending an email to the data controller at ghanasicily@gmail.com .
